In today’s episode, I am sharing my current tech stack that I have been using for years as a service provider.

CRM // As a service provider, you need some sort of CRM. This helps you automate your onboarding process by sending out proposals, contracts, invoices, etc at the click of a button. I am personally a huge fan of Dubsado. I started using them back in 2016 when I first started my business so I only pay about $120 per year. I know it’s definitely not that cheap anymore, but I still think it’s worth the price. As a busy mom, I estimate that Dubsado saves me at least 10 hours a month at a minimum with onboarding and offboarding clients and sending invoices among other things.

Project management software // When you work with clients, you’ll need to keep track of all of the to-dos somewhere. To make this process seamless, I highly recommend utilizing a project management tool. I am a big fan of ClickUp as their free plan has so many great features. I do pay for this software yearly because I do need some of the more advanced features but you can totally get by on the free plan.

Airtable // I am a data junkie and though I can use Google Sheets, I found something even more magical. I got turned onto Airtable back in 2019 and haven’t looked back since. It’s like Google Sheets on steroids and I use it to keep track of my podcast content calendar, social media content, monthly stats, and so much more. They do have a free plan which most people can get by on but I do have a paid workspace so that I can utilize some of the more premium features.

Communication tool // Have clients or team members you need to communicate with? Slack to the rescue! It’s really easy to use and makes team and client communication oh so easy. I am on the free plan and feel like most people can get by without upgrading.

Google Drive // Obviously, Google Drive is an absolute must for file management. I use Google Docs all the time for both client work and for my own stuff. I pay for Google Workspace so that I can have my own branded email address but you may not need to upgrade.

There’s a few other tools that I use on a regular basis like my podcast host, audio and video editing software, and recording software, but those aren’t applicable to all service-based businesses so I didn’t mention them here.
