I’m sure you’ve seen constant posts about reaching $10K/month or even reaching multiple six figure years. If you’re not quite there yet, you may be wondering what am I doing wrong? This is something that really used to send me into a spiral so I’m here to debunk the myth that you need to be making six figures to be successful so let’s dive into the episode

Do you ever open up Instagram to see yet another coach bragging about how they’re making $10K+/months and immediately feel inferior? You’re certainly not alone.

Although sometimes money claims can motivate us to continue pushing forward, they can also have the opposite effect so I’m here to tell you a few reasons why you don’t need to be making 6 figures to be successful.

Reason #1: Success isn’t always monetary

You don’t need to put a price tag on success. If you are helping people and making a difference in their lives, then that’s really all that matters.

For me, I’d rather be able to help hundreds of moms start online businesses at affordable prices than charging people a fortune just so that I can say that I’m making multiple six figures. Being able to serve people brings me a lot more satisfaction than money.

Reason #2: Success is different for everyone

No one has the same path to success or in business in general so what one person needs to feel successful may be completely different than what makes you feel successful. Neither is wrong.

For example, say you’re just wanting to bring in an extra $1-3K/month to help support your family. There’s no reason to feel pressured by other people to exceed that amount. If you end up going above and beyond your initial goals, then

Reason #3: As long as you’re making an impact, you’re successful in your own right

It’s really all about what makes you feel good. Money is great but if it’s your only motivation then you’re not going to be happy. Like I mentioned before, to me it’s more important to be able to help moms start businesses, the money made from doing that is just a bonus. Obviously I’m not naive to think that we don’t need money to survive, but being passionate about what you’re doing is so much more important to me than any money.

So I’d love to know, what are your thoughts on this? Are you tired of seeing this? Let’s chat over on Instagram. I’ll see you in the next episode.
